Event Details
You are cordially invited to a presentation by Veronica Hinke, author of several culinary books about the Titanic! Delve into letters Titanic passengers wrote, describing elaborate lunch feasts and other delicacies. Study the distinctly different menus from first, second and third class, and hear stories of Wisconsin residents who were aboard the Titanic.
See how food gives us an insight to how people lived during the Edwardian era, while nibbling on foods the Titanic passengers ate, including assorted cheeses that were offered on the first class buffet. Recipes will be provided and books will be available for purchase.
Registration Required, call (262) 971-2100 or visit the Reference Desk.
